	My first Drahthaar goes back 30 years ago in the 70's: a male named Barney, a German import from a very good hunting line. All this started back home in Yugoslavia - Banat where I was raised on a very rich farming land - were hunting was unlimited and pheasants were plentiful. Back then I only did hunting with my dogs. Now in USA, I have been breeding for 12 years. I still enjoy a lot hunting with my dogs. I also finished four bench champions, many hunting titles, and one field champion. When Max was competing he was rated number 5 in the USA. Now his kids are doing great: many are wonderful hunting dogs, and Rebel (which is owned by Nancy Kimbel) became field champion at a very young age. Rebel also took 3rd place at the national championship in Nebraska.
