On July 24, 2003 Irene
gave birth to 7 puppies, 3 males and 4 females. They are all healthy,
chubby, and yet always hungry. Irene is a devoted, loving mother who
happily puts up with their constant nagging. They are unaware of their
noble Drahthaar ancestry and they act pretty goofy for descendants
of a long lineage of top rated German Wirehaired Pointers. They don’t
know that their mother Irene
is a multiple champion and their father, Duke
is a specialty winner, nor do they know that their uncle, CH Larkspurs
Windmill Winston made this summer the cover of Wire-News as winner
of all major awards. The puppies most certainly are clueless about
their rich inheritance of skills and qualities purified to perfection
in over a century of strict breeding rules. They don’t know that they
are today the most coveted hunting dogs of their species. For
now the puppies can’t know or do much being so young, but one can
almost see them growing and becoming more and more active. In a few
weeks they’ll certainly turn into a happy, playful bunch eager to
learn and display their phenomenal skills. This
page will be a photo diary of their early life. Dear visitor, come
back soon and come often to witness their miraculous journey and if
you fall in love with any of them let us know so we can reserve that
special puppy for you. |
